Turn... Turn... Turn it around.
First thing, stop acting like it's easy. Like it's some simple decision you make and POOF... you start doing better. NOPE, doesn't work that way bro. When you make the choice to stop smoking, your lungs doesn't improve overnight... When you make the decision to start loving, the one you hurt doesn't heal overnight.... when you make the decision to change, your mind... oh boy that mind of yours... it's going to fight the living shit out of you, using ALL of your best reasoning, best rationalities, best logic... it's going to attempt to consume you everyday... weigh you down with false choices to surrender to your urges and impulses.... It's hard work. How well do you know yourself? Do you know the limit of your discipline? The roadblocks of your consistency? What are the mental triggers that keeps you in a relapsing mode? You're going to have to go deep to make this a lifestyle. To get to the point of productive autonomy. It's literally "throwing yourself into the fire". Learning and excelling beyond common thresholds (pains, emotions, mental, perceptive), all the things that will lead you to better self-discovery and understanding.
Just a quick thought to get you going.
